Overview
Operation Anaconda Pt. 1 by Planesimulation has to be one of the most comprehensive and largest scenery undertaking for FS Helicopter and Cargo pilots in the history of PC Flight Simulation. The scenery itself consists of Bagram Airbase, 4 LZs, and 1 crash site. You can take a look at each section for more detail.

Khost
The village of Khost is Situated in the south-central part of Pakita Province. Special Forces and a M.A.S.H. unit tend to incoming wounded and supply forward units. This airfield is primarily used to stage attacks and re-fuel helicopters. Click below for more information and screenshots.

Bagram
Re-creating the initial phases of Operation Anaconda we of course made Bagram Airbase the hub of operations. The runway can handle most military aircraft the C-17 being one of the heaviest. All manner of support and firepower for our Operation Anaconda stem from Bagram. Click below for more information and screenshots.

LZ4
Staying true to the turn of events in the mission LZ4 consists of a downed CH-47 smoking and lifeless with a fierce battle raging around it. U.S. forces have been pushed back beyond a rocky and treelined ridge by enemy mortar fire. The approach is dangerous and reports are that AH-64s are taking RPG fire. The terrain is very rocky here and this LZ is as "HOT" as it gets. You will be fired on! Click below for more information and screenshots.

LZ3
L Z3 is a busy site with CH-47s deploying troops while the enemy tries to get some mortar and RPG in. Fire power here for the coalition is overwhelming for the enemy forces as AH64s and A-10s give them a beating. We quite like this LZ as you will see it holds some particular challenges for helicopter pilots. The terrain is rough and rocky with many obstacles. You will be fired on! Click below for more information and screenshots.

LZ2
LZ2 is a quiet respite from the heavy action in LZ4 and LZ3. Special forces and regular units are gearing up here for a major push on the enemy. Most of the action is re-supply of units involved in the push. Though it is relatively quiet you should always be alert. You should be happy if your on this run! Click below for more information and screenshots.

LZ1
LZ1 is our favorite. Within a mountain village U.S. Forces battle it out with stubborn enemy fighters refusing to surrender. Army units mortar the hillsides, C-130s soften them, A-10s batter them and finally AH-64s go in for the kill. Click below for more information and screenshots.
